JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli security sources said Friday Syrian planes that flew humanitarian aid to earthquake-struck Iran returned with Iranian arms for Hizbollah, a Lebanese group on the U.S. list of terrorist organizations.
The security sources said Syrian aircraft delivering aid for victims of the December 26 earthquake in the Iranian city of Bam carried missiles and other weapons for Hizbollah on the return leg to Damascus, where the arms were put on trucks to Lebanon.
