Sectarianism of Islamic Republic of Iran, Majid Mohamadi

Comparing Islamic Republic of Iran with Amish lifestyle shows a lot of similarities, with a great difference: all Iranian citizens are obliged to be a member of the sect of ruling clerics, but Amish people let their young people to leave the church when they are 16. All chidren in Islamic Republic of Iran are obliged to be educated and socialized in a totally ideologically established society and have no choice. Amish are confident that 90 percent of their young children will come back but Iranian authoritarian leaders cannot be confident because they know about the weakness of their institutions in bringing in others in a non-obligatory basis.
