The Islamic regime in Iran was founded on the basis of exclusivism and exclusive policies like vetting candidates or ideological recruitment are pillars of this regime. Getting outside this polity is as hard as getting inside. The regime has always paid a very high price for cutting parts of its political body. In each surgery, a big chunk of its political legitimacy and authority has been eroded. The disqualification crisis in the parliamentary election is another phase of this erosion.
