An Appointed Parliament, Majid Mohammadi

The seventh parliament of I.R.I. that will be an appointed one is a good case for scholars who discuss about the inconsistency of democracy with the rule of Islamic jurist that is enforced by the Guardian council. The thesis of Islamic democracy held by spome Iranian reformists is in big trouble; now it is very hard to find a successful case for it.

Islamic state in Iran is transferring from clerical authoritarianism to mafiacracy and there is no sign of democracy for all in near future. Most of the candidates of Iranian political mafia have a military background. It seems that Khamenei cannot survive without appointing his foot-boys in elected bodies of government. The republican aspect of Iran's Islamic Republic is going to fade.
