This week's power struggle in Iran between conservative religious leaders and reformists in the Parliament has been widely characterised as a critical moment for the nation.
This might prove to be so. But not necessarily because the outcome of this tussle can or will, of itself, resolve the question of who ultimately controls the major levers of power in Iran.
