Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA -- All passengers and the crew of Iran Air
flight, which made an emergency landing at Beijing airport on Thursday
morning, due to some mechanical problems, are in good condition, it
was announced here today.
Public relations department of the Islamic Republic of Iran`s
Airline (Iran Air) added that the Boeing 747, en route from Tehran to
Tokyo via Beijing, made an emergency landing at Beijing airport due to
malfunctioning of its landing gear.
The plane encountered mechanical problems shortly after taking off
from Beijing airport for Tokyo and requested to return to the Chinese
capital, it said.
